Role overview

Leverage Live Local prepares and manages Florida Live Local Act property tax exemptions for multifamily owners. The role owns the operating system that lets the business grow without breaking.

Base salary is 180,000 dollars with upside tied to the numbers you own; full compensation is likely 250,000 to 350,000 dollars when the role is performing.

The role includes direct weekly access to the founder, 20 days of paid time off plus federal holidays, and is fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Own every exemption application submitted correctly and on time, every cycle.
  • Own decision tracking by the statutory deadline, logged in the system of record.
  • Own denials and appeals, with deadlines met.
  • Own the annual recertification and compliance cadence.
  • Lead the operations team, including SLAs, data hygiene, and accountability.
  • Maintain one shared source of truth for the team, the software, and clients.

Requirements

  • Have walked into a messy, growing services business and made it run tight.
  • Like being measured on real numbers.
  • Have managed a team of three or more.
  • Be able to work core hours overlapping 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern US time.
  • Have owned operations for a multi million dollar service business.
  • Be willing to run a daily operating rhythm rather than build strategy decks.
  • Be comfortable with a strict schedule and hard regulatory or external deadlines.
